Elaine has wide ranging litigation experience in many different fields, most notably in relation to property litigation, company litigation, judicial review and family law, but also extending to intellectual property and licensing.
In family law she heads up our Family Law team and involves herself in complicated, often high net worth cases.
She regularly advises on disputed property law matters and has been involved in many leading property law cases. She is experienced in judicial review matters having acted in numerous actions of judicial review for the Local Government Property Commission, Non Government Organisations, Government Agencies and Local Authorities. She has experience of company actions particularly in relation to Schemes of Arrangement and Reduction of Share Capital and she handled the litigation side of the Bank of Scotland - Halifax merger.
Elaine also appears before Licensing Boards in liquor licence applications and gives specialist advice on liquor licensing as well as dealing with contentious matters for the IT/IP and Media and Entertainment Law teams.
Elaine is recommended in Legal Business’s “Legal Experts” in 2007 for both Commercial dispute resolution and family law.
