Tony has a wide range of experience in banking and finance transactions across corporate finance, property finance and project finance acting for funders and borrowers. Tony was based in London from 1988 – 1998 and from 1998 has been based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. He is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and Scotland.
Examples of deals he has been involved in include acting for the consortium in Rotherham Schools PFI project; acting for the Bank of Scotland in relation to a £90m urban regeneration project in Feltham, London and a £92m refinancing of Golfrate's property portfolio; acting for Anglo Irish in relation to the financing of a residential development with John Dickie Homes; acting for Melrose Resources in relation to financing its acquisition of Merlon Petroleum; and acting for Nationwide in relation to its funding of the acquisition of Crewe Toll, Edinburgh
