Fit for Purpose in the 21st Century : Meeting the Charity Test

Tods Murray’s Charity Law team is delighted to host the second of a series of special lunchtime briefings entitled “Fit for purpose in the 21st Century” aimed specifically at charities.

In the light of the latest OSCR rolling review programme and recent OSCR guidance on meeting the charity test, Jandy Stevenson of Henderson Loggie, with Lynn Beaumont and Carole Elder of Tods Murray’s Charity Law team, will look at the issues surrounding meeting the charity test and the OSCR regulatory regime.  The briefing will also look at the advantages and disadvantages of the alternative charity structures available and restructuring, marriage broking and winding up.

Other briefings in our charity specific series include Charity Fundraising on 5 June 2008 and Investment on 19 November 2008.  You can book spaces online for these briefings as well.
